So my official weigh in was today, but I'm going to refrain because it was just too depressing. I think I need to work more on calorie intake, because I'm just not losing the weight I was hoping to lose. It just goes to show, a person can be vegan and still be chubby. Time to focus on greens and veggies and less on salty fatty but vegan.
I have a cold too, which I think makes it a little less easy to lose weight for me. As evidenced by my pneumonia episode, I'm one of those unlucky people who gains weight when I'm sick. Just a data point for observation, not a judgment.
I've been keeping track of my diet on sparkpeople, and I'm noticing that I often exceed my caloric range for the day, but am not getting the protein they recommend. I have to remind myself that protein is not the cure-all that some pop-culture diet mavens believe.
Not making sense today. I have to get to work. I'll try to post something deep and uplifting later.
