As many who know us are aware, we loved the lentil's daycare back in Connecticut. It was wonderful- the teachers were all loving, and experienced moms with so much wisdom and energy. The classroom was filled with happy kids from 15 months to 5 years, all doing their own little thing. It was energetic and exciting and fun. I loved that place, and when we picked up the lentil on his last day I couldn't help but cry a little.
Monday the lentil starts his new daycare. It's a Montessori school, which is a big change from the daycare we had back in Connecticut. The lentil is in a class with 7 other kids all age 2-3. They all put their things away, they play quietly together, classical music plays in the background. If they get in trouble, they are asked to go to the "peace chair." Every time we've visited there has been the heady aroma of muffins baking and the sounds of kids playing and laughing and learning in the background. His new classmates have bird names and adjective names.
We love it. We miss the old school but this one looks to be a good fit for our little boy.
He just woke up from nap- must go.
